The 2008 Monday After The Masters also recorded the third consecutive sell-out in the 14-year history of the tournament as more than 6,000 fans packed The Dye Club at Barefoot Resort & Golf in North Myrtle Beach on April 7th to see their favorite celebrities, athletes and musicians compete in the annual charity golf tournament.

Donations from the 2008 Monday After The Masters were distributed to the Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation, bringing the total amount of money donated to charity from the tournament to over $4 million during the event’s 14-year history.

“In the light of this harsh economy, it is nice to see such a huge donation to charity.” said Darius Rucker. “We are very proud of our tournament and can’t wait for next year.”

The Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation is an endowment created to support the educational and golf needs of children in South Carolina.
